Participants of ATO will be helped to get an education

Lawyer of NGO " Community Development " Yuriy Tatomyr explained the new bill No. 2105, which is to provide educational services to the participants of the ATO.
 
The Verkhovna Rada on April 21, 2015 adopted bill No. 2105 on changes regarding state support of ATO participants and their children for the purpose of education.
 
The bill provides for the introduction of targeted government support for vocational and higher education in the manner specified by the Cabinetof Ministers.

To get an education can individuals who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and was directly involved in the ATO, ensuring its implementation, being directly in the area of ATO:
 
 
-military personnel (reservists, millitaries);
- employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- members of other military formations;
- workers of law enforcement bodies;
-children of the above persons.
 
Appropriate changes will be made to the Law on child protection and the Law on the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection.
 

“I am convinced that the law will be adopted. Within 3 months the Cabinet of Ministers should develop procedures for state targeted support of these persons, and also to submit for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on amendments to the state Budget-2015", - said the head of the Department of “Cooperation with authorities”, Yuriy Tatomyr.
