The new Law of Ukraine on public Prosecutor's office shall enter into force in July

The Verkhovna Rada on April 21, adopted the Law on amendments to the Law on Prosecutor's office concerning the postponement of the entry into force (bill No. 2665).
 
The entry into force of the new Law on Prosecutor's office dated on October 14, 2014 deferred to July 15, 2015. Proponents of deferral note that the enactment of the new Law on the Prosecutor's office on April 26, 2015 will provide a comprehensive and systemic reform of the law enforcement system.
 
Also people's deputies adopted the Law on amendments to some laws of Ukraine (on certain issues of the operations of the prosecuting authorities) (bill No. 2666).
 

"The legislative act amended the Final and transitional provisions of the Law on Fair Trial – found, that the convening and holding of all-Ukrainian conference of prosecutors for appointment membersof The High Council of Justice to the entry into force of the Law on public prosecution, is carried out in the manner approved by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine", - said the head of the “Legal Department” Andriy Balubash.

 
In addition, are carried changes to the Law on amendments regarding the security of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the National Agency for the prevention of corruption. Before the creation of the National Agency, the Prosecutor's office and Security Service of Ukraine retain the authority to draw up reports on administrative offenses related to the corruption.
