In Lviv will be the sports games for the disabled

The Platform of social initiatives are implementing a project of recreationaland sports games "Step to Olympus" (“Krok do Olimpu”) for persons with spinal cord injuries.Under the patronage of the NGO "Community Development" (“Rozvytok Hromady”) on June 6, 2015 in the premises of the sports complex of the Sports Society "Dynamo" (vul. Zelena, 59) will be held a recreational and sport games "Step to Olympus" for persons with spinal cord injuries.

The program includes interesting recreational competitions in 5 sports:

• Bandy in wheelchairs
• Slalom in wheelchairs (riding on obstacles in the form of architectural barriers)
• Table tennis
• Bocce
• Darts

Recreational games are played to attract people with disabilities to the classes of recreational sports and to integrate them into a full life. The organizers of the event are Lviv regional organization of active rehabilitation of disabled persons "Stimulus" (“Stymul”), the NGO "Community Development", the CF "Heart of a Lion" (“Sertse Leva”) and the Lviv regional center of physical culture and sports of persons with disabilities.

We will remind, the NGO "Community Development" has launched a new project that helps to implement social initiatives of the city – The Platform of social initiatives.
