Brought support and help before Easter. Visited seriously ill elderly people in the hospice ward in Olesko

In the days leading up to Easter, the NGO and Charity Foundation “Rozvytok Hromady” together with friends and partners, traditionally visited around fifty residents of the hospice and palliative care unit at Olesko Hospital, bringing charitable aid.

Many of these people have no one to help them, yet they are in constant need of support.

We treated the elderly to tasty Easter bread, sweets, cheese, sausages, and yogurts. We also donated diapers, hygiene products, and household supplies for the facility’s needs, as well as medicines and medical mattress covers provided by the Brussels branch of The Association of Ukrainian Women in Belgium, which also covered fuel costs for the trip.

Most importantly, we gave the elderly our time and attention, and had meaningful conversations with them. This truly matters to them.

We are grateful to every donor who joined this good cause.

Our social and charitable initiatives take place under the patronage of the President of the NGO and Charity Foundation “Rozvytok Hromady” Oleksandr Veremeenko.

Also the permanent partner of our initiatives is the Lviv Regional Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine.

Together, we create good!
