With the support of the NGO "Community Development" were held in Lviv children's sports competitions

Sports development of the younger generation today is one of the key objectives in the education of children. Because as everyone knows: a sound mind in a sound body! And, unfortunately, over the past few decades in our country, physical education for children went to "the background": the underfunding of sports schools, the close of free sports sections, the lack of modern equipment – all this has meant that for many young people sport has become something distant and unknown. Like many other issues in our country, the problem of physical education assumes the public. NGO "Community Development" pays considerable attention to the development of youth and sports, one of the last activities in this direction were children's sports competitions.
 
Young pupils of sports club "Legion", created by the NGO "Community Development" and sports club "Spartak", which works within the Specialized children’s school of Olympic reserve, took part in sports competitions, devoted to Day of protection of children. Team meeting was held in two age categories, competed kids of 5-7 years and a few older children 7-10 years. Each of the team members did their best to make things better for good result. Young athletes are not afraid of no falls or blows, and saw before them only one goal – to win! Words cannot express the emotions of children, coaches and parents that raged that day in the hall.
 

"Today, it is extremely important to attract the younger generation to the sport and a healthy lifestyle. These sports meetings between children grow into a real holiday, encourage them to visit the various sections, to participate in competitions and, accordingly, to develop physically and mentally. Such events are held to raise a generation of healthy youth and, of course, future Olympic medalists!", – says the coordinator of the direction of the "Youth and Sports" in the NGO "Community Development" Roman Tsyhylyk.

 
During the awards ceremony, each participant received a certificate, and those who were the best during and showed a fierce fighting spirit, were awarded with prizes. The Cup winners of competitions won in the younger age categories SC "Legion", in elder – SC “Spartak”. At the end of the holiday the children with diplomas, cups, medals and other presents were treated with sweets and shared their impressions. It is worth noting that the event was held with the support of the Charitable Foundation "Community Development". Helped with gifts partners, namely the company "Sandora" has allocated for children drinks; and the notebooks, pens and plastic bags, which were given to children, were provided by public company "Idea Bank".
 

"We understand that the best Deposits – are our children! We are, therefore, happy to join activities that help to raise healthy and sporty Ukrainians", - said during the ceremony, the representative of public company "Idea Bank" and at the same time, the activist of the NGO "Community Development" Anna-Maria Romanchuk.

According to the organizers of the competition, the tournament devoted to Day of protection of children, is planned to become regular and will be held every year.
