Activists of the NGO "Community Development"(“Rozvytok Hromady”) was accompanied by the disabled fans of FC "Karpaty" during a football match

On July 25, at the stadium "Ukraine" was held a meeting of football teams FC Karpaty (Lviv) and "Steel" (Dniprodzerzhynsk). Fans of the Lviv club, members of the NGO “Zavzhdy Virni” are the guests of honor at football matches who enthusiastically support the local team. Among fans, there were people with disabilities. Activists of "Community Development" offered to the people with disabilities assistance and support during the match.

The meeting of football teams from Lviv and Dniprodzerzhynsk was held in difficult for athletes weather conditions. That day the temperature reached above +30ºC. Therefore, the team intensified the struggle only in the second half, when the heat began to subside. Enthusiastic support of the audience helped Lviv "Karpaty" to beat "Steel" with the score 1:0.

"We watched the game in the shade, so the heat has not much affected. And the match was pretty interesting; the main thing is that our team had won. Thank you "Community Development", for having taken the initiative and help us today," shared one of the fans.

Five activists of the NGO have honestly helped people with disabilities throughout the match. Recalls that, repeatedly for the promotion of «Community Development», for people with disabilities are conducted various entertainment or sporting events. Among the latter are camping and concert in memory of Kuzma.
