We continue cooperation with the Belgian "Rotary club Aalst"

Recently, our CF and NGO "Rozvytok Hromady" were presented to the "Rotary club Aalst" in Belgium.

The video report presented our work during the last two years during the pandemic and the full-scale invasion. The text of the report was made by the head of the foundation, Veronika Khidchenko, and she thanked everyone present for their support and invitation to the presentation. It was not easy to cover the entire scope of the organization's activities, so we mainly talked about projects for orphans, single pensioners and the special purpose unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is supported by our foundation. Ukrainian military surgeon Ihor Vitenko was also present at the meeting, with the help of whose Mission the humanitarian aid was brought to Ukraine.

Rotarians in Belgium have many of their own charitable programs, such as supporting victims in Syria and Turkey, as well as local projects for those who lost their homes in the 2021 floods and care for Belgian hospital funds. However, on its own initiative, the Rotary Club of Aalst decided to support the Ukrainian volunteer movement as well. Thus, charity aid in the amount of 6 pallets with woolen blankets, household items and candles arrived in Ukraine.

Our foundation handed them over to the international charity organization "Forever with Ukraine" in Kyiv. And the cargo was thus delivered to Chernihiv, where at that time the local infrastructure and private buildings were damaged by racist bombings the day before. That is, the cargo was in the right place, at the right time.

We hope for further cooperation and interaction in this stormy wartime for Ukraine.
