Police at school: high school students were told about work of policemen

As a part of the project Career guidance the students of School 31 got interesting and useful knowledge about the work of new police in Lviv.

                               


The representative of Lviv police told children about things she has to deal with every day. The police officer informed students about the departments, duties and equipment of police. Moreover, she told children about requirements to become a policeman.

“I think that children received very useful knowledge today. Students found out that in order to be a policeman there is a necessity to develop not only physical qualities, but also personal and human qualities. The children learned that police officers have to be patient, tolerant and balanced,” - says Yuriy, the coordinator of the project “Career guidance”.


Let us recall that the project “Career guidance” that is conducted by the NGO “Community Development”. As a part of the project, the NGO activists invite representatives of various jobs to schools to tell children about the peculiarities of their work and help students to choose their future profession.
