On the occasion of International day of Chess Yavoriv Department of NGO "Community Development" had an interesting chess fun for kids.
Yesterday, on July 24, activists of Yavoriv Department were trying to promote a very useful kind of sport – chess. The game of chess teaches children to focus, develop endurance, concentration and attentiveness. Besides playing chess, child learn to think logically, to calculate their moves, to anticipate the reaction of the opponent, to compare. This sport also promotes imagination and creativity. That is why the activists of "Community Development" decided from an early age to accustom the child to such a good cause.
On the Day of Chess,was invited the coach, who told about all the intricacies of the game, the moves, the names of the pieces and more. Children were very interested in this event and for a long time were under the impression from the fascinating game.
