The Chairman of Sknyliv village Council is suspected in fraud

To the NGO "Community Development"(“Rozvytok Hromady”) addressed the villagers near the city and asked to help to deal with the current situation in their village.

On Monday, 14 September 2015, representatives of NGOs, residents of Sknyliv and the media visited the office of the Chairman of the Sknyliv village Council Mariya Tyndyk. The public requested an official to provide the minutes of the session at which were distributed the land in the village. The reason for this request became suspicions of some residents of Sknyliv, concerning the possible land frauds in the village. Tyndyk refused to provide the minutes of the session, arguing that this cannot be done, for the need of secrecy of personal datas specified in the protocols.

"The village community appealed to our NGO because, supposedly the Executive Committee of the village Council has allocated 200 land, however, the minutes of the meetings of the village Council were not provided. We are not on the side of the Chairman of the village Council or deputies, but only on the site of the law and we want to understand this situation", - said the head of the Legal Department of the NGO "Community Development" Andriy Balubash.

In the office of Chairman of the Village Council started a quarrel, with shouting and accusations. To help resolve the conflict tried representatives of NGO "Community Development". With the joint efforts of the deputies, farmers and activists it was agreed to hold public meetings on the issue of land distribution.
