Legal consultations in the Centre of the Free Primary Legal Assistance at the NGO "Community Development"(“Rozvytok Hromady”)
During the last week in the Center of the Free Primary Legal Assistance (hereinafter CFPLA), acting under the NGO “Community Development” addressed 5 citizens for providing legal information, consultations and explanations on legal issues.
Citizens who have applied for legal aid to lawyers of "Community Development" raised a number of problematic issues. One of them was related to benefits, provided by legislation of Ukraine to the combatants. Soldier addressed with the question of charging interest on the loan during the special period. The lawyers explained that, under paragraph 15 of article 14 of the law of Ukraine “On social and legal protection of servicemen and members of their families”, soldiers during the special period, as well as liable for military service from the moment of call until the end of the special period, fines, penalties for non-compliance to enterprises, institutions and organizations of all forms of ownership, and the percents for the credit are not charged.
Also to the lawyers came an elderly woman, she needed legal advice on the conclusion of the contract of life maintenance for herself and her disabled daughter. Activists explained to her all the intricacies and possibilities with the signing of these documents.
All persons who have applied to lawyers for a free primary legal assistance got answers to their questions. Lawyers of CFPLA at NGO "Community Development" in the future are ready to help the citizens and to provide free legal advices and clarifications.
