Lviv public organizations have announced the collection of embroidered shirts
In the framework of the Festival of Ukrainian embroidery NGOs of Lviv conducted a massive collection of embroidery and embroidered items.
Regional Festival of Ukrainian embroidery organized jointly LCC, LRSA, and NGO "Community Development". Besides, public activists together with the local authorities sent to the President and the Verkhovna Rada the collective letter with the request to finally officially introduce Day of Ukrainian embroidery as public holiday.
Lviv took up the initiative of activists of Chernivtsi, who began the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian embroidery in 2006. Although the festival already has world recognition, it in spite of all requests still has not become official.

Embroidered shirts and clothing items will be given to the participants of the ATO, orphans and needy people. Collected embroidery will be sent abroad with an official letter from the LCC with a call to support the Ukrainians and also to celebrate the Day of Ukrainian embroidery.
