Activists of Lviv region asked the President for the protection from Lviv officials

The public of Lviv have signed an open letter with a request to allocate the forces of the National Guard and National Police for the next session of the Lviv City Council. Activists are asked to provide the community free and unfettered access to the session hall.
 
A letter addressed to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and the Chief of the Department of the National Police in the Lviv region Dmytro Zagaria.
 
In an Open Letter citizens are outraged by the behavior of officials on June 9, 2016. Then for the first time since Yanukovych's government to the public was used National Guard and other security forces. Note that the number of security forces has exceeded the number of ordinary Ukrainians more than seven times.
 
On this day, for the first time in Independent Ukraine the doors of the Hall were closed for citizens. Activists dissatisfied with the government secrecy and systematic absence of the mayor Andriy Sadovyi at sessions of City Council.
 
Therefore, people are asked to protect them from possible provocations on the part of certain officials of the City Council and to provide the community free access to the session of the Lviv City Council, held on 23 June 2016. The work of the security forces, the activists offered to provide from private funds of Sadovyi.

Recall that on the 9th June 2016 at the entrance to the Lviv City Council, there have been clashes between citizens and security forces. People were protesting against the local authorities and demanded from the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi to report about the work on liquidation of consequences of tragedy on Grybovytskomu dump.
