Independence Day in Chervonograd
Participants of Chervonograd Department of the NGO "Community Development" took an active part in the organization of activities for Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.
On August 23, in the flag Day in Lviv was held the festival-competition of arts "Pereveslo". Chervonograd branch has put a lot of effort in organizing performances of children's dance group"Harmony" at the event. Young artists showed their skills and won prizes.
On Independence Day of Ukraine activists of Chervonograd Branch of NGO Department posted a photo exhibition depicting women in embroideries, typical for different regions of Ukraine on the main stage of the city, where there were performances by guest artists and groups.
On August 24, Chervonograd activists spent not only just having fun. On this day, they had a little bit of work. The participants of the "Community Development" took part in the session of the Chervonograd City Council,dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. During the meeting honored the memory of fallen fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine. In addition, public figures together with the clergy, government officials, soldiers and residents of the city prayed for the peace and prosperity of Ukraine.
To the 25 anniversary of the Independence in the Park of culture of the City was held a tennis tournament. The event was attended by about 30 people. The winners received medals and cash awards.
