In Lviv created a monitoring Commission for the construction of housing for participants of the ATO and members of the families of the deceased soldiers

On July 2, in the premises of the Lviv City Council was held a press conference, during which was presented the newly formed Commission that will oversee the construction of housing for ATO soldiers and members of the families of the deceased soldiers. The Commission comprises representatives of the NGO "Community Development" (“Rozvytok Hromady”).

More than six months ago the session of the Lviv City Council allocated land on the Pid Holoskom street for the construction and maintenance of multi-apartment houses for ATO participants and members of the families of the deceased soldiers. The city government promised in April 2016 to pass the house in operation. To control the process of construction decided personally the participants of the antiterrorist operation and the public, creating a Commission to oversee the construction of housing for participants of the ATO and members of the families of the deceased soldiers. About the main objectives and responsibilities of the newly created Supervisory authority said the representative of NGO "Lviv regional Union of social protection of ATO soldiers and members of the families of the deceased soldiers" Andriy Risnychok:

"The main task of the Supervisory authority is implementing ,within its authority, monitoring compliance with legislation, standards, regulations, norms, deadlines, earmarked funds, orders, and rules for the construction of housing".


During his speech, the Chairman of the NGO "Community Development" Oleg Dolinskyi stressed on the need to engage in the Commission of persons with relevant expertise and representatives of the community who are willing to defend the rights of combatants and families of the deceased soldiers.

"Our social organization for about a year helps the military from the ATO zone and the families of the deceased soldiers, so we also participated in the creation of this control Commission. We will do everything in our capacity to ensure that people, who were promised housing in April 2016, at the promised time will settled in their homes," said the Chairman of the NGO "Community Development" Oleg Dolinskyi.


Also the press conference was attended by the Chairman of the NGO "Expert group" Andrian Fitio, the representative of advocates association "Mytsyk and partners" Dmytro Shvets and representatives of the Lviv City Council.
