“The people of Lviv 2015” - NGO "Community Development" was awarded in the nomination "For the development of a public asset"
On June 11, at the “Arena Lviv” hosted the fifth official award ceremony of the "People of Lviv 2015", during which a well-deserved award was presented to the activists of the NGO "Community Development".
Over the past five years those people who are making a significant contribution to the development of Lviv region, are awarded with the award of "People of Lviv". This year the organizers have introduced some new categories, in particular, to honour the NGO’s and the volunteer movement, which help the soldiers in the area ofATO.
Until June 10, the public had the opportunity to determine the best in each category by voting on the official website “RIA-Lviv”. For support to the families of soldiers of ATO, military assistance at the front, supporting the development of orphans, displaced persons, and a considerable number of other social programs, citizens noted the NGO "Community Development". For the honorary award during the event went up to the stage the Chairman of NGO Andriy Balubash.
"In March, our Charitable Foundation "Community Development" was recognized at the national level as one of the best. Therefore, it would be strange if our activities will not be noticed in Lviv. And despite this, for us, the award was completely unexpected, and therefore it was doubly enjoyable. Thanks a lot to judges and organizers!" - said the chief editor of the online publication " Community Development " – Veronica Hidchenko.
