The action "I'll make you a toy!"
Children under the guidance of artist will make decorations for orphans from orphanages of Lviv.
On 11, 12, 17 and 18 December, all children and their parents in the Mall "King Cross Lviv" will create Christmas ornaments. Decorated Christmas trees will go to the pupils of Lviv boarding schools and orphanages to the Day of St. Nicholas. Everyone can join this event.
During the four days of master classes on making Christmas decorations in the company of 10 children from 104 schools and kids from the mall "King Cross Lviv" children will make their own soft toys and paper, vintage postcards and plastic pendants.
For children's creative hand-made, the organizers prepared a variety of materials and craftsmen: colorful ribbons, colored paper, paint, plastic glasses and so on. Lviv children also will choose their own trees, which they will give to boarding schools and orphanages of the city.
Green trees with hand-made toys will please children deprived of parental care from Nicholas to Jordana through Christmas.
Well-known and successful personalities of Lviv together with their kids will also participate in the action.
Schedule of workshops:
December 11, 15.00 – 19.00 – painting plastic pendants for the Christmas tree
December12, 11.00 – 15.00 – manufacture of miniature vintage postcards
December17, 15.00 – 19.00 – production of small angels
December18, 15.00 – 19.00 – the final decoration of Christmas trees, shipping trees in shelters
Christmas trees will go to:
Lviv special secondary boarding school No. 104 (Bryuhovychi);
Shelter of service for children of Lviv regional state administration (Lewandivska Street, 17B);
Lviv children’s service centre (Zhovkivska Street, 26a).
