The celebration of Ivana Kupala In Stryi
From 6 to 7 July, the Ukrainians celebrate Ivana Kupala night, which has long been considered a celebration of youth and love. "Flowering" fern, girls making wreaths, guys jumping over the fire.
Stryi Department of NGO "Community Development" on the occasion of Ivana Kypala organized a weaving wreaths and charms that have protected our ancestors from harm and are symbols of life, destiny and happiness. To such a Ukrainian tradition, activists invited everyone to the Bank of the river Stryi.
Managed participants among those present to find Ivan, to whom gave one of the woven wreaths, while the rest put on the water. Such actions of public activists of "Community Development" popularize Ukrainian customs and urge people to remember their ancient roots.
