Serious, purposeful, talkative and direct Ostap Drozdov on the TV screen and open, honest, charismatic, with a wonderful sense of humor and special approach to everyone in life - with such Mr. Ostap the audience met. With a rapid passage of our time and the appearance of the Internet networks in our lives, it is difficult to interest and teach pupils to listen. Mr. Ostap was able to dispel this stereotype. Interested and inspired pupils were carefully listening, watching and asking the speaker many questions.
“At school I always sought justice and defended my opinion” – with such words the journalist started his conversation with pupils. – “It is important to achieve our goals by actions and surround ourselves with good people. Now it's important for you to read as many books as possible and see for yourself what kind of job you want to do in the future”.
The Ukrainian journalist talked to pupils about how to achieve professional success not only in journalism, but also how to become successful in all areas of life. To read, develop in the area, which is you are most interested in – he advised the pupils. And do not be afraid to be not like everyone because each of us is special and can bring much useful into this world.
“Learn to read at least 10 pages before bed. This will help you in life. To possess a word with a large stock of ideas is to gain a direct competition. Because the educated people win, the ones, who know more. Knowledge is a product” – says Mr. Ostap with inspiration.
“Previously, I only heard about Ostap Drozdov from my parents. Now I personally know that he is very interesting. This reporter spoke to us in simple language, told how he was in high school and various stories from his life” - says an excited pupil named Danylo.
The meeting ended with a traditional selfie – the photoshoot, during which the pupils asked about the journalist’s favorite authors and books with which they should start their way as a reader.
“You know, we were struck by the openness of our today's guest. It is difficult tgo interest pupils, and it is even harder to speak about books as only some of them read. But it's so nice to hear: “I am certainly going to read something just before bedtime”.Thank you, Mr. Ostap, for a wonderful motivation for pupils and the activists of branch that organize such meetings, the result is noticeable,” - says Ms. Khrystyna with hope that motivation of Ostap Drozdov will wake the pupils, and the words pronounced while leaving class: “Well, shall we go to the library?” will not only be heard today.
