NGO "Community Development" for the second year holds a tournament in bocce for people in wheelchairs
Today, on March 18 in the lobby of the Shopping Mall "King Cross Leopolis" among people with special needs will be held the tournament in the Paralympic sport of "bocce".
From 14.00 to 18.00 hours, four teams,with three players in each, determined the strongest bocce players. The game was played in two stages.
The victory was won by "red" team. Second and fourth places went to "white" and "yellow" respectively.
After the competition, the teams were treated by the restaurant of a network " Smachna Pererva".
This tournament NGO "Community Development" conduct in the framework of the project "Recreational games" for the purpose of organizing leisure activities for persons with limited mobility. Bocce is just the first step. Next, the participants will held the tournament in archery, sport fishing and a wheelchair slalom.
Also at the venue of the tournament was a collection box. Each assembled hryvnia will be spent on construction of the Lviv accessibility for persons with limited mobility.

- I really liked the game. We were divided into colors. I was in the "blue" team. Although we did not win but we were fascinated by the process. For all athletes were so interesting to spend leisure time, - said Maksym Barbanov, captain of the "blue" team, which took third place.
