Ternopil Department of NGO "Community Development" continues to acquaint children with the Law
On 7 August, Ternopil Department of NGO "Community Development" in cooperation with the Ternopil Regional Center of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth and the Division of Family and Youth of Ternopil Regional State Administration organized and carried out the arcade "Children have rights" in the health institutions of the region.
About 300 children were familiarized with the UN Convention on the rights of the child in a playful way. Children traveled the planets of the Care, Knowledge, Talents, Understanding, Funland, Friendship, and learned about the right to education, care, nutrition, leisure and recreation, medical care, protection from violence, and development of abilities of expression.
On each planet children were met by a volunteer and offered a story about the name of the planet, with questions on content. Many activists have noticed the bewilderment in children how many good declare adults and how little they implement.
