Day of spontaneous kindness expression in Ternopil
On the 25th of February 2017 activists of Ternopil branch of the NGO “Community Development” together with a teacher of higher category Shum N.R. conducted a master class for the pupils of Petrykiv children orphanage. For the Day of spontaneous kindness expression children were creating applications “Tree of happiness”.
Application helps to develop not only creative, but also general abilities in the pupils of children orphanage. The lessons of application are simultaneously activities for speaking skills development. In the process of playing with a subject and making practical actions a continuous talk with children was conducted, and a teacher together with activists emotionally commented what was taking place on the lesson. A playful organization of the lesson was increasing the children’s speaking activity, caused verbal imitation, stimulated the development of language communicative function and promoted the expansion of active and passive vocabulary of the pupils.
