Thousands of citizens gathered on “Hresna Hoda”( the Procession)
Order and security during the mass action together with the employees of law enforcement agencies ensured the formation of "Community Development".
On Sunday, the citizens came out in Procession to pray for peace and prosperity in the country. The action was attended by priests, teachers, monks, military, members, students, volunteers, immigrants and residents of the city. Prayer procession began near the Church of St. Archangel Michael and ended at the Cathedral of St. Yura.
During the Procession were read quotations of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, who, in the opinion of young people, is a perfect example of how people in times of need remain faithful to God and country.
The participants of social formation of "Community Development" ensure order at public event that each of the faithful could feel safe. Previously to the participants SF addressed the head of the Lviv city administration of internal Affairs of Ukraine in Lviv region with a request to provide professional assistance in the protection of public order at public events.
"This gait has shown once again how good and peaceful is the Ukrainian people. In such moments, when Ukrainians unite our people are becoming stronger, and faith in God will help to survive all the evil that moved to our country ", - said one of the participants of the formation.
