Social adaptation of children with special needs
Sports classes for children NGO "Community Development" held for grant funds
The initiative group of Lviv, which includes migrants and members of the NGO "Community Development"(“Rozvytok Hromady”) won a grant from ICF "Everybody Can"(“Kozhen Mozhe”). On these funds will be conducted sport activities and rehabilitation of children with special needs.
Physical therapy will be conducted in the sports club "Legion". Children with special needs under the supervision of qualified trainers will perform the exercises for a better feeling of one's own body and motor skills. The classes will be held from February to May of this year.
Project participants will be children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, etc.
Social rehabilitation program for children with joint efforts amounted the activists of the "Community Development" and Lyudmyla Madaminova – active student, resettled from the East.
In the competition for the grant initiative group from Lviv went around 44 candidates from all over Ukraine.
