The employee of SBU lost the court case to NGO "Community Development"
Shevchenko district court of Lviv ordered Yaroslav Antoniak to refute the false and insulting information about the NGO "Community Development", which he spread in social networks.
On March 27, 2015 on the community page of "Lvivska Polityka" in Facebook Mr. Jaroslav spread offensive information, calling the activists "titushki" that was undoubtedly a humiliation of goodwill. Therefore, the activists appealed to the court.
In the end, justice was on the side of NGO: "fully satisfy the Claim. Recognize false and that violate the moral right to inviolability of business reputation of the NGO "Community Development"". The court also ordered Yaroslav Antoniak to refute the information circulated by posting on the same page in Facebook, and to pay the cost of paying the court fee.
It should be noted that the court confirmed a high level of business reputation of "Community Development" and recognized its necessity for the society: "In NGO “Community Development” there is a high business reputation among the public. Fruitful work of the organization received numerous letters, commendations and awards."
At the meeting of the court Mr. Jaroslav never appeared, so participants could not even hear the explanations about the cause of the slander.
