NGO "Community Development" has received project funding from the Lviv Regional State Administration
Activists of the "Community Development" took part in the competition programs (projects, activities) of civil society institutions, which in late spring was held by the Lviv Regional State Administration according to the Regional program of the celebration in Lviv region a state holidays, regional, local importance, anniversaries and historical events.
Only 20 of the presented projects were admitted to II stage of the competition, which consisted in the open speech. Along with projects celebrating holidays, of national, regional, local importance, anniversaries and historical events were considered competitive projects in the framework of the Regional programme for promoting the development of the information space and civil society in Lviv region for 2014-2018. Among the projects of the celebration in Lviv region state holidays, of regional, local importance, anniversaries and historical events – there are six. One of the best is the project "Future defenders" from the NGO "Community Development".
"It's very important today to feel the support of the authorities in the implementation of our ideas. As our work takes place according to European standards, to newly develop the young generation for the prosperity of our country," notes the co-supervisor Chrystyna Melekestseva.
The project calls for the Patriotic upbringing of youth, moral, spiritual and athletic development of youth. In the framework of the project on the Day of defender of the Fatherland will be held sports competitions and Patriotic plays for young people. "Future Defenders" will be implemented jointly with the NGO "The Legion of Lviv."
"Today, one of the key activities of the Charitable Foundation "Community Development" - ensure that the appropriate level of youth development. Thus, we believe that the education of the young generation in the spirit of patriotism to a large extent determined by the need for processes that should ensure all citizens equal opportunities to develop and use their potential, achieve subjectively attractive and at the same time socially significant goals as a condition of the realization of the main needs of a person - needs determination and self-affirmation. We are convinced to educate these future defenders of our country, from early childhood to instill the values of consciousness and responsibility, proper attitude to the state symbols, government responsibilities as a citizen of Ukraine. That is why the team of the Charitable Foundation “Community Development” decided to promote the NGO "Community Development" in the conduct for boys competition, during which participants would be able to show their courage and bravery to raise the national spirit and to get an opportunity to develop their sporting achievements", - said the Chairman of the Charitable Foundation “Community Development” Solomiya Starosolska.
Recall that, the President Petro Poroshenko has identified the 14th of October, the Day of Defender of Ukraine. The corresponding decree published on the website of the President. As noted in the decree, it is made "for the purpose of honoring the courage and heroism of defenders of the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, military traditions and victories of the Ukrainian people, to promote the further strengthening of Patriotic spirit in society and in support of the initiative of the public".
