Every day new experiences and knowledge

During the third day of summer camp, children learned the fascinating stories of the Lviv dungeons, learned to paint and to make sushi.

As every day the participants of the summer camp for children Moves&skills, gathered in the Central part of the city, where they were brought by the activists of the NGO "Community Development". On this day kids had an exciting tour underground the city from the tour guide Nina. Descending into the dungeon of the Dominican monastery, from the guide, they know where in the XIII century, was the Palace of the Prince Lev, what were the punishments in medieval Europe, saw how looked like the cells of Lviv monks. Also very interesting were the excursions to old Lviv pharmacy, where is a unique Museum of pharmacy, and in the dungeons of the Church of the Jesuits.

Acquainted with the history of Lviv dungeons, children went to English class in the Park named after Ivan Franko, or as it are popularly known as "Kostiushko Park". Outdoors children play games, communicate in English, and were treated with sweets and juice.


Closer to the dinner the children went to a Japanese restaurant “Yapona Hata”. There children along with sous-chef Sergiy cook sushi, which later had ate. And first had the opportunity to make a sushi roll girl Valentyna, whose birthday was. Personally cooked Japanese dishes the kids liked. And all the skills they have acquired during the master class, promised to apply in the future.

"I've never tried sushi. And today I had the opportunity with our sushi chef to prepare sushi roll, which was delicious! For me it was a good gift!" - shared her impressions the girl.


Get closer to art and to try themselves in the role of artists, the children went to the Lviv Art Studio "Two cats". Listening to the advices of artists Oksana and Christina, they painted with paints and brush. Vivid paintings that have been created on this day will remind them of another great day, experienced in summer camp together with the NGO and Charitable Foundation “Community Development”.
