Strike of carriers in Lviv
Today, August 30, around 300 minibuses of five ATP of Lviv started the campaign "For the safety and quality of transportations".
About the campaign, yesterday, announced at the press club Internet- edition "Gal-info", where was held a press conference, the participants of which were representatives of public organizations of Lviv and five carriers who are no longer able to keep quiet and put up with the current state of Affairs: Igor Senyk – President of the Free Trade Union of Carriers, Taras Spilnyk and Andriy Begej – entrepreneurs and owners of buses, Andriy Korchynskyi – the head of the Association of motorists and Roman Duda – representative of the NGO "Community Development".
The carriers announced the basic requirements:
As of today, 60% of the bus is not owned by the ATP, they are leased from carriers, signing a contract, the terms of which are advantageous only for one side. Lviv ATP, in turn, do not care about the state of the art and quality of transportation services. In this situation suffer and the owners of minibuses and passengers.
Participants also spoke about the issue of compensation for travel privileges.
Raised and painful problem of a transport network that is far from perfect and the cause of the many accidents. Said about the workload of drivers, who not only performs his work, and also works for the controller, checking ID, and the cashier, when counts and gives change. Carriers have solutions to pressing problems, but no one wants to hear them.
That is why the carriers decided to resort to decisive action and staged a protest action "For the safety and quality of transportations". Today went not all the routes, but if the government continue to ignore, it will lead to a transport collapse in the city.
Therefore, already, in the morning, the following routes work with difficulties: 5A, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14 20, 29, 27, 25, 35, 37, 40, 55.
NGO "Community Development" will monitor the situation in the city and illuminate the course of events.

- The introduction of the electronic ticket;
- The introduction of a uniform preferential ticket;
- The creation of the new composition of the Tender Committee;
