Cleanup "Begin with yourself!" in Chervonograd

On 9 July Chervonograd Department of NGO "Community Development" together with activists of the Polish society and Civil Corps "Azov" held cleanup at the old city cemetery (Polish-Ukrainian graves).

The participants cleared the tombstones and paths, mowed the grass, pruned the dead wood and wild shoots. In the end, the activists took three trailers of garbage.

The main goal of this cleanup was not only to clean the cemetery, but also to draw public attention to its historical value and the need for restoration, since it is a common story.

The activists called on all residents to join in and by their own example showed that cleanliness and neatness should be not only on the eve of big holidays, but in everyday life.

Start with yourself!

The action was conducted with the assistance of the Chervonograd City Council and direct involvement of Mayor Andriy Zalivskyi.
