In Lviv will be held a tournament in bocce
On 26 September in the SEC King Cross Leopolis, the activists of the NGO "Community Development"(“Rozvytok Hromady”) organize the bocce tournament. A few days before the game the players have begun active training.
Boccia is a special kind of sport that is included in the program of the Paralympic Games. The uniqueness of this game is that it can be played by people with serious disorders of the musculoskeletal system and are confined to a wheelchair. To participate in the tournament in the shopping center NGO activists invited members of the Interregional centre of social-labour, professional and medical rehabilitation of the disabled.
A few days before the game, the activists of "Community Development" visited a rehabilitation centre and introduced to the potential participants (more than 15) the tournament rules. It is worth noting that players were interested in this sport and with more enthusiasm studied all the details.
Activists of the NGO established on the sports court of the rehabilitation centre basketball net to enhance sports entertainment. Recall that the NGO "Community Development" not for the first time organizes a sports event for persons with disabilities,in particular, in June there were held a recreational game for people with disabilities called "a Step to Olympus".
