At a charity auction in Lviv we gathered more than 125 thousand UAH
The organizer of the charity event was the NGO "Rozvytok Hromady" by the initiatives of the Women's literary club in Lviv. The money collected from the sale of artworks will be used to complete the treatment and rehabilitation of five injured soldiers in the area of ATO. The organizers decided not to focus on abstract helping of all the injured, but to offer real help for the soldiers with hard injuries of the extremities and the abdomen.
The products and paintings by the famous artists of Ukraine like - Viktor Stognut, Borys Buryak, Orest Manyuk and other young artists - were presented on the auction "For Life". The chairman of municipality - Yuriy Turiansky has opened this event.
The first and the most expensive lot was the picture of Vladimir Nemyra "Bokorash.". From the sale of this painting will be sent about 37 500 UAHto rehabilitate wounded soldiers. The art-curator Elena Kis-Fedoruktold about every lot and gave her assessment of it.
One of the most popular lots became the helmet “kaska”of the period of Maidan. Speciallyfor the activists of Euromaidan the winter helmet was painted by the famous writer Mila Ivantsova. The lot price started from 300 UAH. After fierce bidding the helmet was sold for 2600 UAH.
Many artists who donated their works were also present at the auction. The buyers were able to communicate with the authors. Some of her jewelries also presented a well-known artist- Roksolyana Shymchukat a charity action. The guests were able to buy embroidered shirts by the author Lyudmila Sedov.
In general, for the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers in the area of ATO the activists managed to collect more than 125 thousand UAH. It has been sold more than 30 lots. Several works of art are waiting for their owners and soon will add to the amount of aid for the soldiers. We want to remind you that our support is waiting for five militaries from all over Ukraine.
