Another “Corner of Goodness” was opened

Thanks to common actions of the activists, an up-to-date room was created from the dust. It will serve as a place of recreation, leisure and source of inspiration for small patients of the ophthalmologic department of the Lviv Region Hospital "Okhmatdyt" (Briukhovychi).

Benefactors generously filled the "Corner of Goodness" with the variety of toys, developing games and books.

Each this room costs several thousands of hryvnias and it would be hard for us to complete the repair of the room and fill it with everything necessary without any support. Therefore, we are very grateful to all our donors, who supported us in creating this necessary cozy place in the hospital. It will be unnecessary to describe how the child's mood affects its recovery. I just call on all indifferent parents to join creating these corners, which we are going to open in various hospital children's departments of the city and region,- said the head of the charity fund, a writer Nika Nikaleo, who gifted books from her own library.

The artist Aglaya Nogina painted the walls of the children's playroom with bright colors wholeheartedly.

Oleg Bilyi, the owner of the "Maestro" restaurant donated a modern TV. With it children will be able not only to watch cartoons but also to use different developing programs and do vision correction exercises which become extremely popular worldwide.

The duo "Vlatar" conducted an entertaining animated holiday for children and the Caramel Workshop conducted a "delicious" master-class in sweets manufacturing.

These "Corners of Goodness" are useful for children and serve as a place of rest for their parents too.

- We will play here all day long. And it will never bore us. I am glad that we now have this room, - shared his impressions the seven-year-old Romchyk, a small patient of the ophthalmologic department of the Lviv Region Hospital "Okhmatdyt".

All were very happy with this event. The head of the ophthalmologic department noted with that the "Corner of Goodness" would be very useful during long rainy days and in the winter when children have nothing to do between procedures.
